The Holocaust: Refuted in Nuremberg

The Holocaust – Proven at Nuremberg? Reviewing the Evidence Presented at the IMT; Germar RudolfOn the first Sunday of November 2024, Jake Shields hosted a debate between mainstream historian Prof. Dr. Michael G. Vann and me in Shields’s studio in Las Vegas. Forty-five and a half minutes into the debate, Jake brought up the Nuremberg postwar trials, implying that these are the trials which, at least in the eyes of the general public, convincingly demonstrated that the Holocaust did indeed happen as commonly portrayed. Dr. Vann responded to this by saying:

“I think that the Nuremberg trials provide all sorts of useful evidence for the Holocaust.”

It is certainly true that court verdicts look to the uninitiated spectator like the ultimate proof of a defendant’s guilt, and thus for the veracity of the crimes claimed. In societies where the reliability and incorruptibility of the judiciary is one of the mainstays of our trust in governance, this attitude is understandable. Today, the Nuremberg International Military Tribunal enjoys indeed a very high reputation among mainstream scholars and media. But is this reputation deserved? Dr. Vann evidently thought so.

I tried to argue the opposite position, but a podcast with its question-and-answer format, catering to an audience with a short attention span, cannot be the right format to demonstrate such a complex issue thoroughly and convincingly. Had I been able to cite a concise study proving my point, I would have done it. However, there was none. Hence, I did the best I could within the few minutes provided, but I managed to touch the subject only superficially. That’s when I realized that we revisionists have a PR vulnerability here, a gap in our published argumentative fabric that needs to be closed. I decided right then and there to write a book on this topic that brings the most pertinent revisionist arguments together in one coherent volume. And here it is, ready to be pulled out of the sleeve the next time someone claims that the Nuremberg trials provided all sorts of useful evidence for the Holocaust:
